Born and raised in the Cayman Islands. Selita moved to Staten Island, NY where she was accepted to Columbia University.
She was discovered by a modeling agency at the age of 17.
Selita went on to work with Glamour, Sports Illustrated, Vogue, Nylon, Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria's Secret and Levis.
